Our idea was good, but there was a lot
of problems with it, and so we decided to change our idea.
The problems we had with our previous idea were:
- The Lickey Hills Country Park is difficult to get to, it is pretty far from the sixth form and so the amount of filming we would have been able to do would have been limited, we thought that we wouldn't have had enough time to film everything we needed.
- Our idea also contained a lot of people, in this case we would have had to tell everyone to meet at the Lickey Hills Country Park. Since it is difficult to get to, we presumed that not many people would have turned up, making the crowd we wanted look more like a group of friends, rather than anything else.
- Another problem was taking the props and instruments up to the Lickey Hills Country Park. As previously mentioned before, it is difficult to get to, and transporting the instruments would have been extremely difficult.
- At The Lickey Hills Country Park
there is a lot of people who go there for various reasons, we would have
found it difficult to film because of the general public would have
been included within the filming and that would be difficult
especially with continuity errors if we were to re-film certain parts.
So we changed our idea, we wanted to make it simpler but just as good. So we went back to the researching stage and came up with an idea.
Idea 4 and our final idea: After some
discussions, we realised that in our previous idea we were going to
create banners and posters that people would have held up, so instead we
thought about having pictures hanging up on the trees. We then decided
on the location of the filming, we thought about any local parks, and we
came up with Kings Norton Bicycle Path. The path has quite a lot of
trees, with a river running through it. It was the perfect location,
especially since when the sun is shining, it splits through the trees
and lights up the path. Liam will be the musician, he will walk along
the path, as if something has just got him annoyed and this is his way
of reliving the stress he has. He sings Peace Is Free and comes across
photos that are hanging in the trees, that link in with the song.
We inted to use the following
photos as part of our music video:
